Cooper Home Health Passes State Survey
The Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) licenses, certifies and surveys home and community support services agencies (HCSSAs) for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Through these regulatory activities, DADS protects Texas citizens receiving home health, hospice and personal assistance services.
DADS conducts on-site surveys every 36 months to ensure that they are in compliance with state licensure and federal certification regulations. All surveys and investigations are unannounced. DADS does not notify agencies prior to conducting surveys, follow-up visits or investigations.
After the survey was completed, Cooper Home Health had no deficiencies.
“A deficiency free survey reflects the care, respect and compassion the staff of Cooper Home Health have for the patients and communities we serve. This great accomplishment would not be possible without our hard working and dedicated staff, regardless of the position. All Cooper Home Health employees strive every day to allow patients to remain independent in their homes. Thanks to all the physicians and facilities that allow us to serve their patients,” says Kathy Stevens, RN, BSN, Administrator.
